We all know that treasured moment of seeing a recently born baby. Maybe your own, or that of a friend; or a mum in the local supermarket with her newborn. But we all feel that warming, as we are captivated by the wonder of a young life beginning.

Natural birth is amazing and precious as we see all that potential wrapped up in a little bundle of joy. To be spiritually born again is also an incredibly special and wonderful event. In fact, the Bible tells us that even the angels in heaven rejoice over one sinner that repents. That moment we received Christ into our lives heaven was touched… for we had become a child of God.

We all understand natural birth, but there is a spiritual birth. It is more than a spiritual awakening but an actual birthing of God’s nature within us. Jesus simplified the matter by saying there is a natural birth, but there is a spiritual birth. When we are born again by the Holy Spirit, it enables us to enter the kingdom of God.
