The following words are found in the Bible ” But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings…” (Mal.4:2). God’s prophetic word speaks to us about the future, but it also reveals spiritual truth for us today!

There are two very important words in this passage in the Bible… one is RIGHTEOUSNESS, the other is HEALING. The Hebrew word for healing here relates to physical healing of the body.

Complete healing of course, is that day when God gives us a new body… an imperishable one. It will be a body healed beyond our present mortality, a resurrection body, (1 Cor. 15:52-54).

But what about today? God is still the Lord who heals… Jehovah- Rapha, (Ex. 15:26). We also know that Jesus healed in his earthly ministry and he continues to be the Lord that heals today!

God not only forgives all our sins, but He also heals all our diseases, (Psalm 103:3). Jesus came with the Gospel message, and he also healed every disease and sickness, (Matt. 4:23).

He says to us today… I AM THE LORD THAT HEALS YOU!
